The new slim-lined Sony Ericsson W960i combines touch screen technology with a mechanic interface.  Although the touch screen element feels somewhat of a gimmick more than a use, the phone makes up for that with a very stylish design and some well thought out elements.

Although wider, the W960i is still relatively lightweight, and allows for a larger screen and better spacing of the buttons.  There is a whopping 8GB of in-built storage space, which allows for thousands of songs and pictures, which can be taken with the 3.2 Megapixel camera.

One major factor with any walkman phone, or any media phone for that matter, is the battery life - and happily the W960i delivers.  There is an amazing 370 hours standby on the battery life, along with 540 minutes of talktime, so there's plenty of battery in this one!

The W960i also offers 3G connectivity, bluetooth and wi-fi, along with the usual stunning sound quality expected from a Sony Ericsson walkman.  If you're a fan of any of the previous walkman models, than the W960i will indeed be a welcomed upgrade.
