The Samsung ZV40, made exclusively for Vodafone, is similar in design to many other phones on the market today without having any particular distinguishing features. It comes in pink and so this could be the phone for you if you think it’s cute, but otherwise look elsewhere, there are better deals around today for phones with a higher spec.

It comes with an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera with various settings, can record and stream videos, and being a 3G phone, video calling is also available. This is facilitated by the rotating camera. Also included is an MP3 player, 40MB of memory, Bluetooth, multimedia messaging and Bluetooth.

The handset has a good external display, and a clear, TFT screen on the inside, which is good for enjoying the pre-loaded Java games, and the user can download further games to suit their needs.

The Samsung ZV40 is a good quality phone with all the basics of a 3G phone, however, it is lacking in terms of style, and originality. Although there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the handset, it does not possess a distinctive attribute.
