The Morola U9 looks very similar to the old PEBL designs, with a the same curved pebble like shape.  However the U9 is aimed at the female audience, with a bright metallic pink or purple colour option.

The U9 looks and feels great, with superb finishing as always from motorola.  Sadly the phone uses EDGE rather than 3G for internet browsing which is sluggish - but all of this is forgotton when you see the OLED screen on the front of the phone.  Touch screen controls sit snuggly under the glossy front casing, offering quick music changeing and other features.

The U9 is not as fiddly as previous Motorola phones, and functions well.  The camera is nothing to write home about, but the music player is very decent, with excellent sound quality.  Needless to say, the battery itself is superb, offering plenty of life.
