The Motorola SLVR is a very slim, compact handset. It has a striking keypad, combined with an excellent display and fine multimedia features.
The phone comes with a VGA camera complete with 4x digital zoom, which can also capture video. Like many other phones on the market, the SLVR L7 comes with an integrated MP3 player, but this phone also has iTunes included. However, unlike many phones, this handset has some innovative new technology such as SCREEN3 and PTT, (Push To Talk). SCREEN3 allows the user to keep up to date with current events without having to push a single button, headlines are downloaded to the phone and used as a screensaver, and then if the user should wish to read on further, they can then choose to read a preview, and if after that, the story is of sufficient interest the user can download the whole story. PTT is an application whereby the user can connect to work groups, family members or friends via Bluetooth and then share calendar dates or contact information very easily with other compatible devices.
The Motorola SLVR L7 has much of the technology that is fast becoming standard on mobile phones, and it has a look that is becoming a trademark of Motorola; however the novel SCREEN3 and PTT features make it stand out from the crowd.
