The LGU300 is another 3G phone, unremarkable in appearance and no outstanding features, but it does have some good multimedia features, and is fairly light for a 3G phone at just 93g.
It comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera that can be rotated for use during video calls, as well as to get a good angle when taking photos. Also included in the handset is a good quality music player, made even better by the fact that it supports MP3, AAC, Enhanced AAC+, AMR and WMA formats. The music player can also be used in conjunction with a Bluetooth headset, for which there is full support. However there is only 8MB of internal memory to store all your files, but there is a microSD slot to expand this to 128MB.
The phone is a clamshell design and includes 2 displays, the outer display is a 1.7 inch display which shows the time & date, signal strength, battery life and a picture of a person who is calling. The internal screen is a 2 inch, TFT 262K colour display that has a resolution of 176x220 pixels.
The LG U300 is a reasonable priced and lightweight 3G phone that can do a job without being outstanding.
