After much success in the luxury phone range with handsets such as the Chocolate, Prada and Shine, LG have entered a different market with this entry level phone. Although basic in looks and specification, this phone still has much to offer.

Even though it is a flip style phone, it is still relatively thin, even in the closed position. It has two screens, of which the external one provides a monocolour display of the caller’s name, signal strength battery life. The internal screen is a 65K colour screen that gives a colourful and clear user interface.

The KP202 also comes with a VGA camera with 4x digital zoom as well as Triband technology. However a few extra features such as Bluetooth or infrared would improve this handset no end.

To sum up, this phone has everything you will need on a daily basis, and a VGA camera and Bluetooth are welcome extras, however it is lacking some creature comforts but this is only to be expected for an entry level phone such as this.
