It has all-glass waterproof and dustproof design and aluminium frame around the edges. The front panel of the Z1 is slick. Right in the middle is 5-inch display with 16mm of bezel above and below. The top bezel has a front-facing camera, sensor array, speaker and notification light, while the bottom bezel isn’t used for anything. Around the edges there is a circular power button and small volume rocker on the left hand side, below a covered SIM card slot. On the right hand side is a covered microSD card slot, covered USB port and a dock connector. On the top of the smartphone is a 3.5mm headphone jack and on the bottom is a device’s main speaker. The main addition to the Xperia Z1’s body is dedicated, two-stage camera button, which facilitates underwater photography (it can withstand 1.5m of fresh water for up to 30m) and makes using the camera much easier. The Xperia Z1 has great display with 2.07 million pixels in the space of 68.9cm² equates to a density of 441 pixels per inch (ppi), which give it the great clarity. It enables to take great and also creative pictures as it uses a 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor and other features:auto focus, touch to focus, digital image stabilization, face detection, smile detection, white balance presents, burst mode, digital zoom, geo tagging, high dynamic range mode (HDR), panorama, scenes and self-timer. It can also shoot High Definition video clips at full 1080p HD with stereo sound and has a room to store plenty of photos and videos, with 16GB of built-in memory. The biggest pro of the Xperia Z1 is its waterproof body which allowing underwater photography. Other pros are: very big display (5.0 inches), high-resolution display (1080 x 1920 pexels), extremely high pixel density screen (441 ppi), quard core processor, lots of RAM (2048 MB), fast mobile support (4G) and NFC. One of the cons that I noticed is glass pane in the front and in the back of the smartpfone, which may increase the chances of damage by cracking it.
